Anu recently joined the BCHA team in May 2023, assuming the role of Member Services Coordinator with enthusiasm and a wealth of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. She pursued
her passion for the field by completing a postgraduate program in Hospitality and Tourism Management at Selkirk College in Nelson, BC. Having dedicated the past five years to this industry, Anu has cultivated a versatile skill set through her work in various departments, including front office, reservations, housekeeping, and F&B.

During the challenging times of the pandemic, Anu demonstrated her adaptability and commitment by extending her expertise to assist local businesses. She played a pivotal role in managing their financial accounts, showcasing her versatility and contributing to their sustainability. Through this experience, she gained valuable insights into accounting and revenue management, augmenting her already impressive repertoire of skills.

Anu's professional journey has taken her to esteemed establishments such as Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Fairmont Waterfront, boutique properties, and numerous local restaurants across British Columbia. This diverse exposure has allowed her to develop a profound understanding of the intricacies and nuances within the hospitality industry.

Outside of work, Anu finds solace in indulging her adventurous spirit, whether it's a thrilling game of badminton, an invigorating hike through scenic trails, or the tranquility of kayaking on serene waters.
