ABOUT THE PROGRAM Global Payments understands the unprecedented challenges that the Hotel industry has faced in 2020. We are dedicated to helping our customers persevere and adapt to this challenging environment. Firstly, we are offering relief to our customers in the form of cost savings on card processing. We are pleased to offer interchange rates starting as low as 0.87% on qualifying MasterCard transactions. We are offering BCHA members a free, no obligation savings analysis which will precisely identify the savings we can generate for your business. Secondly, we are eager to help you enhance your business services by offering payment integration to your POS, ERP, or reservation softwares.
BCHA Members have access to labour relations expertise through Hospitality Industrial Relations (HIR).
HIR originated as an arm of the British Columbia Hotel’s Association (BCHA). Its role was solely focused on acting as the bargaining agent for BCHA members in collective agreement negotiations. In 1987, HIR was incorporated as a society and has since been committed to helping businesses in the hospitality sector maintain great labour relations with their employees and unions. Today HIR serves its members through collective agreement negotiation, advice and guidance on all aspects of collective agreement administration, education seminars, advocacy at the Labour Relations Board, grievance procedures, and arbitration hearings.
