British Columbia’s workforce shortage has reached a critical juncture and business operators across all sectors of the province are desperately seeking access to skilled workers. The British Columbia Hotel Association has been actively pursuing placement programs, expanding opportunities with partner organizations, and working in tandem with government to mitigate this growing issue. There are many programs and resources available to business operators and we understand it can be challenging to determine which are best suited to your company.
The BCHA is pleased to bring together an esteemed panel of industry experts and leaders to discuss some of the recruitment programs and opportunities currently available to employers looking to hire. During this session, we are also pleased to formally introduce BCHA's new Workforce Specialist, Alison Langford, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and a licensed British Columbia Foreign Worker Recruiter. Alison will play an integral role in supporting workforce recovery for the hospitality sector, working directly with BCHA members to support their recruitment efforts.
